Scenic in the Verkeån valley.
Along the Verkeån river, sometimes called Skepparpsån, just east of Ravlunda, is a collection of houses and farms called Skepparp. The small village is very scenic in the river valley with Haväng downstream with beach and heather moors and Brösarp upstream. The Skåneleden hiking trail runs through Skepparp, as does the museum railway Brösarp–St Olof.
There is an active cultural heritage association here, Havängs kulturförening, which runs Havängs outdoor museum, including Lindgrens länga and Öradekaren, where you can enjoy large quantities of rising salmon in the autumn. The Skepparp youth hostel is also located here. Just south of Skepparp is Haväng summer village and the new archaeological excavation areas at Malestad.
The nearest town with services is Brösarp one kilometre to the north-west. There are shops, a pharmacy and a school, innkeeper's farm, health centre, dentist, church, petrol station, speciality shops, pizzeria, sports ground, etc.
