Welcome to Glimmingehus, the best preserved medieval castle in the Nordic region! Here you can join exciting tours and hear about the Danish knight Jens Holgersen Ulfstand who had Glimmingehus built starting on 2 May 1499.

The castle comes alive with guided tours, medieval days, jousting, ghost walks and much more!

New this year, you can book your entrance and event tickets online.

Don't miss the Borgfolk exhibition in the museum on Borgholmen! It deals with the people of Glimmingehus, from the Middle Ages onwards.

There is also a nice museum shop and a café.

Glimmingehus is managed by the Swedish National Property Board and its operations are run by the National Heritage Board.
